AFRO! is a Restaurant, Bar & Lounge located in the heart of Birmingham that celebrates and showcases African culture.
Afro! offers an Afro- Continental dining experience that blends traditional african dishes with modern culinary techniques.
It features a modern, afro-centric space where tradition meets innovation with stylish contemporary decor that incorporates African art and design elements.
Research
We explored Afrocentric culture and upscale nightlife, drawing inspiration from traditional African art and contemporary luxury. Insights from local creatives and audience preferences guided the brand’s bold, culturally rich identity.
Design
I developed a striking black and gold palette with dynamic, hand-drawn patterns. The custom typography and expressive elements celebrate heritage and vibrancy, creating an inviting yet sophisticated atmosphere.
Development
The brand identity evolved through experimentation and feedback. Every design element, from the logo to environmental graphics, was refined to balance artistic flair with premium aesthetics, ensuring a cohesive and memorable brand experience.
